how come i'm being in love yet feeling guilty at the same time?

it was just a dust

my land owner who lives in the upper floor came in to my room and asked me,

"once, i went back home very late and saw your light is still on at 3 o'clock. didn't you turn the light off when you're sleeping?"

rushed i replied, "no i cant. i got goosebump all over my body when i sleep with darkness in the surrounding. and instead, my heartbeat becomes faster. i cant sleep"

this old lady stared into my eyes, then she said "there must be something about  your emotional condition. what happened when you were still a little child?"

"..."

"what happened little girl? was there a burglar entering your house?"

then i smiled and grasped for an air "no. nothing in particular".

all i knew that i was lying...
